Liz Knight
For many years I worked in the corporate world as a Human Resources Director and was able to transfer some of the people skills I learned and honed during that time when I re-trained and changed careers.
Whilst I work in private practice, I have also worked as a Counsellor with Relate Bradford & Leeds with lots of different clients/issues.
People seek counselling for a variety of different reasons, often when they feel overwhelmed by life's challenges and need help coping. You might be dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression, struggling with relationship issues, or facing significant life changes like a job loss or the death of a loved one. You might want to work on personal growth and self-improvement.
Counselling provides a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your feelings and thoughts, gain new perspectives, and develop effective coping strategies.
Ultimately, I believe counselling helps individuals understand themselves better and find healthier ways to navigate their lives.
